Friday, October 21, undone, the passionate language learning students from Mortlach High School, hosted an Open Mic event. Students from four high schools attended: Central Butte, Rouleau, Mortlach and CCI. Our library had the feel of a real coffee house with fresh java and delicious delicacies. The highlight of the evening was a mini-slam competition. Students who wished to take part were given a topic before intermission and upon return performed stories about this topic. The topic: self-contained underwater breathing apparatus. Watch us here.

Our students will host another live stream Open Mic event in early February. In April, in partnership with The Festival of Words, our group, undone, will host an evening Open Mic event at Java Express in Moose Jaw. It is our hope to host another inter-school performance event in early June at a much larger venue.
